How to Connect Health Data to Stride?

Connecting your health data to the Stride app ensures accurate step tracking and a seamless user experience. Follow these step-by-step guides for both Android and iOS to get started.

Access Health Settings:

  1. Open the Stride app.
  2. Go to "Health Settings."
  3. Tap the "Health" button.

For Android Users:

  1. Install Google Fit:
    • If you haven't already, download and install the Google Fit app from the Google Play Store.
  2. Sync Google Fit with Health Connect:
    • Open the Google Fit app and set it up by following the on-screen instructions.
    • Download and install the Health Connect app from the Google Play Store.
    • Open the Health Connect app and sync it with Google Fit.
  3. Enable Step Tracking:
    • In the Health Connect app, ensure that step tracking is enabled for Stride.
    • In the Google Fit app, confirm that Stride is permitted to track your steps.
  4. Refresh the Stride App:
    • Go back to the Stride app.
    • Pull down the screen to refresh and sync your steps.

For iOS Users:

  1. Enable Stride in Apple Health:
    • Open the Apple Health app on your device.
    • Tap on your profile picture in the top right corner.
    • Under "Privacy," select "Apps."
